Interfection: A Tale of Two Boys
Interfection is what we define as the interaction that leads to infection. Something that takes hold of you and slowly, but surely becomes a part of who and what you are.
Orahael Moru was a brat, he was spoiled and used to getting his way at any cost. He had a family that cared about him but he held no regard for himself, let alone others. Carelessly he went from one easy target to the next, sleeping with anyone attractive enough to warrant a second glance from him, regardless of their gender and without caring to know anything about them. Unbeknownst to him, his actions and behaviour could easily be attributed to the fact that he was secretly yearning for something more.
Paien Myeong was lost, a child forgotten and discarded by his parents for reasons that he didn't quite understand or believe that he could control. His love for the parents he hardly even knew, save for what he read in the infrequent letters received from his mother, was unrivaled while he drowned himself in misery and self-inflicted hatred. They could do no wrong, while the fault sat squarely upon his shoulders. Surely, he would think, there must be something wrong with me for them to abandon me.
They lived two completely different lives and had two completely different views of the world that they lived in. However, fate saw fit to put them both in the same place, where they would eventually collide and come to realize just how much can truly be seen, simply by opening up to a new perspective.
A spoiled brat, an unwanted child, and many others along the way - this is where their tale unfolds.
